4 HANDSY HACKS
PHOTO 1- (cross your hands so that your thumbs go just above the bumps where your collarbone comes together)-ALT text, take a deep breath (counting to 4) and hold it for a count of 4, as you exhale long and slow out the nose please use your thumbs to alternatingly flick the tendon attached to the top of the bumps, do this 40 times total (20 to each side).
PHOTO 2-(Hands still crossed raise them behind your ears and using the middle and ring fingers)-ALT text, take another 4 count inhale, hold and as you release begin to pull from about 2 inches behind your ears forward toward the ear. Do this 40 times, both sides same time if you can manage it, please raise your hands enough so you don’t choke!
PHOTO 3-(uncrossed hands cup the bone at the back of head (occiput) so the thumbs meet in the middle)-ALT text, another 4 count breath in, hold and as you release pull the thumbs laterally away from the center line out to the edge of the head, 40 reps, if your feeling fly you can time the motion to the breath but it’s not necessary.
PHOTO 4-(THE VULCAN HAND POSTURE, index and middle finger together, ring and pinky together forming a V put them to the head with your ear in the V space)-ALT text the index and middle will be behind the ear, the ring and pinky in front, this can also be done cross hands just switch it around. Then 4 count breath in, 4 count hold and as you release pull downward and forward toward the jaw. 40 times.
Now go in the reverse, repeating Step 3, then 2 and finishing with step 1.
This whole handsy hack won’t take more than 10 minutes and will stimulate blood flow to the brain. Most of the body’s lymphatic drainage channels empty back into the cardiovascular system right behind those collarbone bumps and that’s a big win for stimulating immune function where you need it most.
